just for the purpose of making you stop bitching (oh well, this does not resolve that the 'evil manufacturer' does not provide it) When I ask a simple question, "Is it a plug or a socket?" and they don't provide an answer, I have to wonder why. a/the mating connector I use is DigiKey 609-2115-ND and if you, instead of bitching had looked it up at DigiKey, you would have found that the manufacturers part number is 86093967113755LF. So ... which manufacturer is that? Richard, contrary to what you believe, the manufacturers are not "out to get you", they may be incompetent, but a business model based on being 'evil' would be sure to fail (eventually). I know I'm not that important. I'm simply thinking about my own convenience. If I can't get a "straight" answer on a simple matter such as the gender of a connector, what will happen if I ask a difficult question? Aside from that, I don't need their product. Perhaps I'd see things differently if I were to decide I do need it. My concern is exactly what you mention ... incompetence ... as a company that tolerates it in their support staff tolerates it in their management and engineering staff as well. Erik |
