many hobbyist use SILabs devboards just have a look at the SILabs forum, it has lots of hobbyist posts. There has been some hobbyist SILabs posts here as well. Years ago Cygnal (yes, that long ago) announced they had sold 10,000 devboards and I doubt very much the majority went to professionals.
