This is general, ignoring the cost issue.
well let me be clearer in that...i thought i would go for making every thing myself Most admirable; however the "making everything" will get you to the point where you will not know if the problem is hardware or software. That issue is 'standard' for experienced people but can be a real joy killer for beginners. but then, again, i can always realize it myself and expand it to incorporate the same I hope you are not planning to make it on a pegboard or some such thing. Modern chips have risetimes that almost gauarantees that anything not on a proper PCB will, most likely, fail. Erik |
