... just more comfortable. I personally use a simple reset pushbutton and make that extra move with my hand when I want to download... In fact, one of the first lines in my 'V51RD2 programs usually are some sort of NoTouchTM of Erik Malund, e.g. I go to bootloader mode deliberately from the application when "U"s are received via serial.

The multiple sources of reset (DTR via MAX232, pushbutton, MCP101) might need some anti-collision considerations, thaough (I believe series resistors would suffice).
