Jan , Maxim is a savour here , Hobbiest can procure two three from them free of cost ;-) . I do agree in majority of countries sourcing 3.3V is a real pain in back.There is an aversion to 3.3V parts I dont know why , though 3.3V parts are power efficient and work great .
