Everything in this world is relative there is no demarcation between a right term or a wrong, majority deside it.
We are talking about a budget for a hobbiest and a professional , as far as I understand hobbiests search for free or low cost products and tools.And easily available MCUs no hobbiest would bother Import buy any silabs , winbond product .
