True i m not a newbie. I have mentioned in one of the posts that i have worked with MSC1210 in the past.....but then i did only the RS232<-->TTL conversion part of the hardware (and display part also). The firmware though done entirely by me I have done the coding very lavishly...as if i had all the memory space in the world :p....that time i was a newbie

And yes i bought the idea of going with the reset IC (rather than using RC network) ....a few of my colleagues have struggled in the past to make some damn board work with RC reset:p
