I'm saying it's not right to jump in with a specific chip when we don't know what he wants to do. This is supposed to be the 8052 web venue, hence we should probably assume he's starting with the basic 805x, and not an esoteric variant.
There are lots of MCU's that have programmable chip-selects, some even having different external bus timing depending on which nCS is in use. I don't know that the 805x core is in any of them, though. I think it's more valuable to probe into what the O/P wants to do before slamming him with whatever chip we think best, since he's not given much indication of what "best" might be. RE |
