That's why, sometimes i have to write the data to the 82xx device more than once to get them working.
Very unsafe, it does not give a "long write" just 2 "rgular" writes, who is to say that they always pick up on the second write, I'll bet you that in some (rare?) cases they do not.


1) THE BEST throw the stupid 82xx antiques OUT
2) the workaround - workarounds are the bane of namy7 projects. Get a 7.whatever crystal - there is one in that range that makes good baudrates I think it is 7.51 but check
