Dear Kai, thanks for your ideas. Yes, I am now standing between amateur cost and professional quality! I must settle at one side.

My idea is to use 'emulated vias':


For pins which are to be connected to ground, put a via, closer to the pin, connect the via at bottom layer to the pin thru small trace, and the other end of via would be soldered to PCB on the top layer.

Is this okay, Kai? Does this cause any other side effect, concerned to signal integrity?
