Andy, oh yeah, I have missed the point of low impedance path to ground. Yes, my idea will simply act like a shield, but the ground impedance will still be an issue.

Regarding you second idea, thats interesing, I would like to try that, thanks!

Farshid, yes, I am making my PCBs. I have put a page describing the process, but the page is still incomplete(in many respects). You may see the webpage at:
