It depends what you mean by testing, Ive got several programs which test all the instructions in the instruction set and check the result against known results.There is BIST which kind of does the same thing,testing memory isnt that productive in my view, and the only other testing i get involved with is when I am running a testbench to test that a pld model is correct.
The only thing I find usefull for testing in the field is a simple BIST routine which gives a go/no go result pretty quickly. |
