I suspect it's not that easy. After all, a RAM is just a bunch of bits a mux, and a demux.
If you make it wide, it will still be limited by the performance of the mux. FLASH chips seem to "top-out" at about 55 ns access time. The bigger ones can't do that. Clearly there are some limits. RE |
