Not the thing per se, but maybe it is the first opportunity
in somebodys career to help in designing an ASIC. This could be
a real geek project for that someone.

Well what is "latest technology" in an ASIC, and (i don't want
to offend anyone) 8051? Unless it's for a world record,
first 8051 in 90nm running at 1GHz.
