#99349 - DK3420 USB Disk Demo arrived today. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Ian,
I received the DK3420 USB Disk Demo board today I ordered a few days ago. Plugged it into one of my USB ports on my Windows XP and it came up right away. Opened up drive G (in my case) using Windows XP explorer. Opened the Index.HTML file to read about the device. I don't have a JTAG device in order to program it and am debating on whether to spend $60 to buy it. Of course Keil or Raisoance is also needed. There is one application I could use it for. I want to build a data logger inside of a clap on amp meter so that it would be a stand alone device. Having the data be removable to an IBM desktop computer certainly is handy but the power utilities I deal with are hard nose people who don't want to spend anything on equipment unless absolutely necessary. Time will tell whether this goes any where. Regards, Charles Bannister Ps I didn't win the JTAG device contest. |
