Any chance of capturing the edges off the encoder and looking at them ?


Dear Steve,

Sorry for my late reply. I was very busy with work and thus couldnt reply.

I dont have a DSO so not possible to capture edges. I have seen waveforms on my analog scope and they seem normal on this scope.

I have already installed the stepper motors + encoders in the machine and machine is working absolutely fine. The decoder is in 4X mode. I cant try 2X and 1X mode with machine fitted encoders since machine is at clients factory and dont want to experiement there.
