what ever be the counts the decoder has to count them and update position counter. What this has to do with micro offloading QD. Please explain a bit more on this it seems i am missing something here.
I mixed up 2 HCTLxxx chips. The one I used produced pulses.

I have not done quadrature for a long time, I doubt the 2032 was out when I did it.
