#105228 - Re: Misleading encoder. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Erik,
With 1X decoder mode when i run at 60RPM as seen in table in earlier post it counts correctly but when stopping there are errors seen. So when i run continously 10 rotations and stop after that there is hardly any error seen but if i stop 10 times in those 10 roations while those 10 rotations there is larger error seen. The error seen is shaft position in fact in propotion to number of times stopped. Simillar errors are seen when rotating at frequencies below 60Hz but at lower frequencies not only stopping but continous running too is errorneously decoded. Rotating stepper at slow RPMs and stopping too much at 60RPM are simillar in the sense that both leads to vibrations. With 2X and 4X modes there are no problems neither with slow speed nor with stopping. Thanks & Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
