there are 2 vesions of twisted pair use
1) balanced circuit (e.g. RS-485) where the twisted pair virtually eliminate noise radiation and intrusion (except common mode intrusion) 2) geound and signal circuit (e.g. J1708) where the twisted pair reduce noise radiation and intrusion. 3) does not exist, Jan if you used twisted pair for a ground line, what would the other wire carry?
