#121990 - the 'weekly' question get the weekly answer
Responding to: ???'s previous message
AT89s52 microcontroller: I try programming it ... But i have just 74LSxxx buffers...there is some problem?

YES!!!!!

Forget what you 'have' that is the bane of much so called design, use what is called for.

Programming chips is not "getting some signal somewhere" it is getting the EXACT signal to the EXACT place in the EXACT time with the EXACT high and the EXACT low and the EXACT width of the pulses on a board of the EXACT layout.

If you can not copy a 'programmer' EXACTLY you are lost.

BTW: even with an EXACT copy of some of the .... (I shall refrain from using that word) floating around on the internet you may not be succesful. Use the one at the Atmel website and do not substitute anything if it calls for a red resistor get one that is red.
Even better, use the proven solution, spend $25 and buy it from Atmel.
