I am happy with the Keil Compiler, but efore I could be effective in using it, I tried the PICC, to my horror I never really understood how the thingie works, especially when you have to optimize, it has got lots of embedded functions which I found very difficult to understand.

I didn't like that horrible PIC ASSembly, So i moved to the 8051 met keil and I never looked back then. I know the PIC is highly supported on the WEB but DAMN the thingie is for the Wannabe Rocket Scientists.
