What's this about you can ge pcb's for $13? PCB's of what?

Unless you know for sure that the pcb you can get for $13 is exactly what the OP wants, you'd best back away from that rather questionable assertion. How fast an 8255 does that PCB support? Where do you get it? Which MCU does it support? If it's a good PCB, it should make his application using the 8255 work, right?

It doesn't look as though the OP wants production volume, or even multiples, else he'd have figured out what a waste of time and effort it is to try to make an 8255 work.

Forgive me, but I submit, Erik, that you're not fully informed here, and are contradicting your own earlier comments.
