Never thought about using port`s to address the 8255 I will try this as well as the 74xx573

The recommendation was to replace the 8255 with the mcu's ports not to drive them with the ports. Get rid of this ridiculous arcane thing.

And why don't you answer questions like "What is the clock of your system?"
