I did not say "switch to an ARM" I said "do not use a RTOS on the '51".

In a nutshell "if you suffer from the PC flu (symptom: who could even think of not using an OS), use an ARM or learn to properly use the '51". If that means that due to his boss doesn't want to buy/stock additional hardware you think you 'need' a blasted OS for the '51, you have the wrong job QUIT!
