So, he realized, that the circuit he has does not work as intended and assumed that there must be failure within the transistor. From this you can clearly see, that he is a newbie, which definitely needs help and who isn't helped at all by telling him to search at google or elsewhere first! It just would not have helped him to find the mistake in his circuit!!

Richard, if we do not go on helping newbies like Asok, then we can forget this place here and all the nice words about the spirit of this forum. And it will no longer be a place where I like to come to every day.
