#109291 - yes, but most want their tool Responding to: ???'s previous message |
yes, but most want their tool.
Wrangling GCC into making code for the '51 is a natural continuation of the posts we see "why can I not just code C and forget about what a '51 is". Some want the world to be universal and, maybe some day that will happen. HOWEVER what we discuss in this forum is not "just another device to program in C" Of course, if you want to treat the '51 as a PC and fail, the it is a logical conclusion that it is not your fault, but the fault is due to the fact that the PC tool is not avilable to you. I totally syumpathize with those that get a '51 job with the assumption that their PC "expertise" will be enough, but they lose my sympathy when they lay down and whine "why does PC code not work" instead of pulling up their pants and learning what they have to deal with.
