It's not easy to find, and there's no website, so there's no link. Nevertheless, it's "out there" for people to use. Cadence bought OrCAD because it was too good to leave alone. After all, if a $2500 package owned by a small company is several orders of magnitude better than your own, multimillion-dollar company's flagship product, you have to buy the smaller company in order to quash the better product. AFter all, they knew that, once it was put under the yoke of Windows requirements, it would become "just another piece of crap," and after a generation of young programmers, completely unaware of what it was supposed to do, fiddled with it, it would become increasingly worse.
Nevertheless, if you look on Yahoo, under discussion groups, it won't take you long to find it. RE |
