#134794 - The only you get is a circuit >somwhat working Responding to: ???'s previous message |
In an earlier thread you reported about a circuit, which is "somewhat working". Then you presented the schematic:
It's entirely impossible to realize this circuit on a double sided board! When doing so, you need so many jumpers and bridges and traces on BOTH sides, that you cannot implement the solid ground plane! Forget the idea, that's enough to connect points A and B by a piece of wire to produce a connection fullfilling all needs of a digital circuit. You totally overlook, that actually wave packets are running through transmission lines with such a digital circuit. And you need the solid ground plane to guide these wave packets. If you omit the solid ground plane, then you get lots of ringing and ground bounce, which will result in a total erosion of noise margins. What you intend to do might work with a slowly analog circuit, but not with a fast digital one. The only you get is a circuit that is "somewhat working"... Kai |
