I'm not allowed to make any changes at all of any sort to the PCB. Whatever I do, I have to do it with the already-been-built PCB and component pinout. Due to regulatory requirements, etc, I can't even cut-n-paste, for now. I can alter the number of wait-states, and I can decrease the access time. I could, I suppose, even change the clock rate, unless it has impact on the firmware, which is disallowed.
Also, the MCU isn't an 805x type, and it has no on-board cache or prefetch queue. It's cheap, though, since the customer is the folks who make it. RE |
