Being on Spansion website, I downloaded the selection guide, and it looks like the smaller devices are faster, the bigger are slower. I am talking about the "conventional" parts here, not the "burst/page" mode ones.

While there is a 45ns part in 4Mb density, the fastest 16Mb (this is what Richard needs) is 70ns here.
