I have need of 2 MB (1M x 16) of code memory on an MCU that has a bus cycle too short for the typical 70ns FLASH memory.
I know one can shadow the FLASH, but that requires additional hardware, and these parts have pretty fine-pitch leads, which makes "scabbing-on" an other part a difficult and questionably reliable process. Do the serial flash makers produce serial devices of that capacity? RE |
