#111404 - too little SRAM
Responding to: ???'s previous message
So far, the parts I've found that MIGHT work have too little SRAM to shadow the entire memory range. This app demands 1M x 16. These flash+SRAM devices so far tend to have less SRAM than FLASH. What I need is the same amount of RAM. If we had time to build a new set of boards and get 'em approved, it would be different, but I have to use the existing board, which already can support the configuration I'm after.

The shadowing concept occurred to me at the outset, but, due to space limitations, there's really no place where I can "scab-on" an extra batch of RAM atop the FLASH because of board clearance issues.
