If 2 functions use different banks, they are in different "contexts" and have no business calling each other
That is/was not necessarily true. Bank swapping was/can be used as a "save all registers" instruction. Of course, when you use that technique, you can not transfer via registers (I know, you "can", but not smoothly and safely). Erik |
