#90721 - Participation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
OK, but why 8 registers and why 4 banks? This question and similiar ones on the innards of a MCU are best answered by the ones who do it - namely a design engineer from Intel, Philips , Atmel and the like. In another thread there was a question on wonky pin out in gate ICs. I never remember to have seen someone from the MCU / IC manufacturing companies reply to such queries. Is it that they are bound by some Non Disclosure Agreements or simply think otherwise ? Exceptions to this are the spot on answers for software issues on FlashMagic and Keil. It gives you so much confidence when you hear it from the horses mouth. Raghu |
