Maybe it's because the 8051 was designed over 20 years ago so the guys that did it have left the company or retired by now.
Maybe - but the 8051 in the meanwhile has only grown from strength to strength and is nowhere near extinction. In fact I took the 8051 as an example and was generally voicing a concern as to why designers of such ICs and MCUs never ( or so I think) post on relevant issues. In any case having retired, the guys must have lots of time to share thier experiences and knowledge ? ;-) Raghu |
