In this case, he may not need intensity regulation.

And maybe the display may be black while the next bitmap is generated (requires a ring buffer so no new bitmap needs to be generated for the scroll).

Then the "only" job is to emit the data fast enough.

But we don't know exactly how the 16*80 diodes are connected.
