That'd be a challenge. ;) Not everybody wants to debug/reprogram a '51-based device. That's why most of the cellphones (except those which are PDAs) don't have a built-in terminal nor anything similar; even if some of the higher-end pieces have some form of Java built it so they possess some form of programmability, I doubt it would be easy or even possible to access a serial port or IrDA from it - that Java is intended more for stupid games than for anything practical. I might be wrong of course. JW |
