Although it does seem to be easy to produce a high-quality picture on the web nowadays, most of those who tried to do that (for the first time) could witness that it is not THAT easy.

if it would not oscillate (on the proper frequency), the "first letters get transmitted" would never happen.

This is quite clearly a spurious reset case, due to improper supply and/or decoupling.
