#140678 - have any one having the Strange prob with 89C51 ?
Hey all members,

i have searched alot but i am having a problem with AT89C51, (well i am basically AT89CX051 progrrammer :-) and i have bought three AT89C51s,

and according to the Datasheet of the both of AT89C51, and AT89CX051, they are 8051 compatable, but for C51, i am having problem that even the flashin LED program is not working on C51, but its working on CX051 :-(

so in nutshell i have tried everything, even i have redesigned the circuit, and i have tried it by using the UART, but the UART response is also very unmeaningful, cuz i have printed ":READY:" but the hyper terminal shows the garbage like ":RE:" or ":RE" or something else,

is anyone having such problem ?

well for me i have used many Crystals such as 16Mhz, 12MHz, 20MHz, and i have also used many baud rates but the result is same for all the MCUs,

could any one please tell me what to do ?
