See the data sheet of AD7730 and see the connection on it to cancel that problem because you can take the same reference for load cell and the A/D to cancelling that problem

2- specify the best kind of load cell you used
3- Specify the bigger problem you faced and what is the best scale accuracy you get

4- i think the better way is to use AC- Excitation im agree with you and stefen

i will try to redesign the scale from scratch to focus on where the problem is found

and i will try to make summary of all written here to be as areference of all of us

i think we can make very good team to the subject of scales
