But, what's wrong with "old"??

Every teenager is totally convinced that anything said by a person over 25 is "dinosaur talk" and thus ridiculous, irrelevant and stupid.

Some, including some that call themselves engineers, maintain that attitude far beyond their teenage years. I have, fortunately only once, experienced that from a person I estimated to be 40 years old.

I once tried to explain to a youngster that an aspect of my eduction re vacuum tubes that helped in appreciating a feature of an IC and what I got was a "that's ridiculous, that knowledge is too old".

Without naming names, I am sure you know of some participants in this forum the above apply to.
