just tell like I did in the other post, an IDE to use. It does not matter if it is the best or the worst IDE in the world. A newbie is not in a position to realize that anyway. He or she will use one without any fatality occuring, and then come back with more mature questions

you absolutotally do not get it. If i understand you correctly, then
1) a newbie is not in a position to realize if an IDE is good
2) a newbie is in a position to realize that he need an IDE.

I think the pot is starting to call the kettle black.

BTW "without any fatality occuring" is totally irrelevant. Advice should not be based on rsik.

It is always a judgement call where to "just answer" and where to point out that the question may be wrong. I know i tend towards the latter. If I went by "just tell like I did" then what would I answer to "how do you do RS232 without MAX232(equivalent) and "A transformer is expensive, how do I make a 220v power supply without one" (both seen here) ... you can continue here yourself.
