What else can Erik be rude about if not the question itself?

You also state that I am "rude" what does "you do not need an IDE (e.g. if you use certain freebies)" have to do with being rude. I try to let the OP know that ignoring some options because they do not include an IDE might not be a good idea.

Of course I could have written "little Joe, I know you are uninformed, but please do consider whether you need an IDE" THAT would have been rude, and - in addition - had no effect. I have never considered direct and to the point "rude".


If he is a final year student, still quite green or Andy were you an expert in your final year?

absolutely not and you have no idea what I "knew" I "needed" at that time that I had absolutely no use for.
