#106474 - on style Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Kai,
Personally, I don't like it if somebody is offensive, but on the other hand - if anybody doesn't like what Erik says (and what he says it is right) he/she can ignore it. Would the following be any better?: The help provided by IDE in developing is minor compared to its cost. A decent "DIY" working environment can be built from a good editor (a wide choice of free programmer's editors for Win all packed by features has been discussed recently - see links there), free assembler (asem, metalink)/free C (SDCC), and a choice of debugging tools (simulators/monitors/quasiICEs/ICEs). Programming examples can be found throughout the web, best starting on this site. Programming examples for SDCC can be found on SDCC's site (I don't know if this is true, I don't SDCC). However, if you intend to invest into professional tools, the IDE comes bundled with all of the abovementioned - push the Links button on the left). (It took me some time to write this down - and most of it the OP could read out simply from the tutorials/FAQ.) So the OP obviously ignores the information readily available on this site - the original post fully deserves the ranking it gets. Jan Waclawek |
