There are lots of junior colleges and technical schools that train second-tier personnel to do what engineers don't want to do any more.  
 However, once upon a time, those of us who went through real college curricula leading to real college degrees actually had to learn to use assembly language. I don't know what this says about our colleges and universities, in light of the fact that, from what I've observed, their graduates seldom read and write well. RE  |
