#129987 - good discussion
Responding to: ???'s previous message
dear friends
i feel very late to join 8052 .com
it's quite great be here.
my idea was to interface one device to the 8051
the device will communicate with 8051 in uart.
the second serial port i need is to communicate the 8051
(iam configuring it as the slave of my rs 485 network)
with the master.there will be 8 slaves be there.
for rs 485 communication, i need a serial port
for communicating with the device.
one more thing,i only need to receive from the device
nothing to send to it.
is there any other possibilities to do this application?
insted of using two serial ports?

regards

sunish
