I think if you really want two serial ports then i think you should witch to atmega128.I know some people here are not thrilled with Atmel but since procuring exotic 8051 core is tough yo can go for this.This is easily available with them

or you can go with arm lpc2138 or such i think it may be a overkill but then availability is not a problem.
Only problem i find is both this chips are smds .
