You indicate you have an NTSC/PAL input on your monitor. Is it a fair assumtion that once switched to NTSC/PAL that the monitor will accept compliant timing and display correctly. You can test this using any NTSC/PAL device. If this is the case. Will you achieve your aim by producing this video format and routing this to the NTSC/PAL input? I guess i'm confused by all the VGA discussion. If your monitor will sync to these "TV" formats aren't you intending to displace a current display which is upon an LCD with an alternate video format. Also, are you imagining a circuit that converts LCD signalling into the required video format. And if so is this the conventional character mode LCD command/data exchange? regards, p |
