#109032 - Programming and the such Responding to: ???'s previous message |
At one time I did do some programming with fortan and some assembly language. Too bad I can't do it with the allen bradley plc 5 ladder logic I use to program the robots and other automation in my plant. Am I right to assume that what ever type of programming I do will have to be compiled?
Also, I think I have a good friend who does a lot of programming with visual basic. I would probably be able to get some local resources to help if I had a specific circuit to copy or had the names of some specific packages I could plan to get that the programming would work with. I have tried browsing some of the key words people have been posting but when I followed a couple they were out of the country and I could not get any pricing or other info. I was wondering if there were some ready made video cards that did not plug into ISA or PCI that someone might have laying around that would work. I can probably get a connector to plug ther ribbon cable from the buffer chip into. After all its just a one off project. But I am dedicated to sticking to it. All I need is for someone to send me the right hobby type way to do it. I have done a couple projects before that did turn out to be finished and to work. I have been looking at some of the bench talk and am anxious to get just the right lead from someone. Hopefully someone else has done exactly what I am trying to do and can be a little more specific. I did browse the motorola part number but although I understand its concept I did get enough info yet to do it. |
