the uniqueness of a wired OR is that any input is an output i.e. quasi-bidirectional.

TRY to explain two '51s having their P0's connected for bi-directional communication using "input mode" and "output mode".

Instead drop the babble and it is easy: they form a wired OR.

As stated above, I have no problem with any expression except that repeatedly there are posts as the one starting this thread which should illustrate to anyone how potenitially misleading/confusing mode/configure speak is.
